Finally…the results and in all their glory.

I tried to have each winner of each placement listed on a seperate line, but the SS program wouldn't let me. So, I had to place all stories and authors on the same line next to whatever placement they won for. You'll have to check each category carefully and read each placement line to see if your story is there.

As you will eventually discover, though, there were quite a few ties and multiple ties in this year’s comp. Congratulations to everyone who did such an outstanding job of writing that it became nearly impossible to have clear-cut winners for these categories. We seriously considered conducting a vote-off week, if any ties occurred, but considering the sheer volume we ended up with, this comp would never finish. So, everyone give a group hug for your category.

Those who finished ‘out of the money’ – so to speak - will receive ‘honorable mentions’ for their participation in the comp.

Although we did our best to validate all stories before voting began, one story did slip by us. During the count, we discovered it had won in 2004 for the same category it was submitted for in 2005. To be fair to those whose stories didn't qualify for the same reason, we had to remove it during the voting procedure. Our deepest regrets and apologies.

As for the certificates, it will take the rest of January and part, if not all, of February to get them ready. I will then e-mail them to their respective recipients as soon as they are done.
