I wouldn't know who she'd fit with... Since I don't know a lot about her. I read a little bit on the interenet about her, but not any comic books. Which cartoon of TMNT was she in? I just watched the one episode where the turtles where with the power rangers... I never cared for the Power Rangers... But from what I saw I'd say Don or Leo she'd fit best with... Even though yes Mikey liked her...

She wasn't in any cartoon... Venus is from the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation live-action show. The show was produced by Saban, who also produced the Power Rangers shows -- which was probably the main reason for that particular crossover.

Next Mutation is not exactly regarded as a highlight in Turtle history; the show is generally considered very bad... and Venus, while she does have a few fans, is not a very popular character.

Peter Laird himself went so far as to declare that she doesn't exist and that Next Mutation is completely non-canon.

I finally saw the first VHS "East Meets West." I know that I watched the show as a kid, but I honestly remember more dreams about the guys and Venus, than I do the actual show. I wonder what that says about the show, if a small child's dreams were more memorable for its plot and characters? Laughing

Overall, I'd watch the other episodes if I ever ran across them. Granted, I spent the whole VHS with my head in my hands asking what they were doing/saying and marveling at the general OOCness. I didn't really like how egotistical Don was...and actually rather mean to Venus.

Pairing wise, I voted Leo/Venus. Honestly, I've only read two fanfics with her. One was an erotica including Leo and Mike, and the other involved a hummer and an accusedly gay Donatello.

I really like Venus with Donny, and I thought the hug between them at the end of 'Silver & Gold' was quite cute! However I just adore Leo/Venus. I can't really picture her with the other two, but then again, something new is always nice.

Of the seven episodes I've watched so far (I'm working on it...) I can really only see her with Leo, though I don't particularly care for Venus all that much.

I like Venus with either Leo or Raph. Don acted more like a brother to her, even though they aren't related. Mikey behaved as a love-sick nut, so it's not a good match up there as she sees him as a little kid more than anything else.

The Turtle brothers are more blood related than she is to any of them (her carapace pattern is very different from theirs).
So I come to this as proof that Venus was never their sister whatsoever so the issue of incest isn't really an issue afterall.

And Leo never needed to say that his brothers weren't his brothers just to win Venus over. They just needed to look at her shell to know she wasn't related to them.
The Turtle boys shell patterns are the same for them though, which is why I think they are blood-related brothers.

I guess the only way to be sure is through a DNA test, but that's up to Laird to decide and make official of course.

But with turtles (the mutant ones we love and the real terrapins of the world), we all know they do whatever the shell they want regardless. If they want to do incest, be gay, hump shoes, eat everything in sight, destroy the world as pests, etc; they'll do it if they want to and can (very much like rabbits).

Thanks to ninjalara's fics, I really like Venus being with Raph. In the NM series, he was always worried if she was in danger and he tried to protect her all the time. He seemed more in tune about caring for her than Leo (who seemed to zone out during certain situations for Venus which was odd).

We have to remember that NM is a different version of TMNT, which in some ways is not TMNT but new animal people (hu-animals as I call it) who are based loosely off TMNT. Don't judge it with the original TMNT in mind, you'll be very disappointed to disgusted.
NM sometimes looks like a parody of TMNT (like they are making fun of the Turtles at time by how the sleep on the floor or clustered all over one another - & fall down, there's so much more, but you get the idea).

I still like NM for what it is, not what it isn't. It's funny and they had subjects brought up not shown in previous versions (just wasn't handled correctly as the issues shown were more adult issues dumbed down to a kiddie version).
